California

Status: Adopted legislation & pass is available*

Department: California State Water Resource Control Board

Contact: Terry Snyder

Phone: 916-341-5775

Note: California has adopted regulations similar to the Federal requirements. They have used different terminology for the A/B and the C operator. In California, the A/B is called the “Designated Operator” and the Class C is called the “Facility Employee”. The Designated Operator is responsible for providing annual site-specific training for the Facility Employees. PASS is offering our Class C Operator training to these Designated Operators as one of the tools which may be used, in conjunction with site-specific training, to train Facility Employees. Please call or email us for more specific information or to view a demo of our Class C Operator training system before you purchase. California regulatory requirements

Georgia

Status: Adopted legislation & pass is available*

Department: Georgia Environmental Protection-Storage Tank Division

Contact: Rick Strickfadden

Phone: 404-362-2687

Address: 4244 International PKWY Suite 104 Atlanta GA, 30354

Note: Georgia has adopted new rules for UST Operator Training. A and B operators must take a state exam and pass. Failure to pass will require the trainee to take a state approved training course by a private vendor and then retake the state exam. Class C operator training may be done by the A or B operator but must show a meaningful training method and maintain a list of those C operators that are approved on site at all times. Our Class C operator system is a great tool that makes training a breeze and will reduce the amount of time the A/B operator has to spend training. Let PASS do the hard part!
