August came down to two problems. Techs were losing answers when a save failed in the field. And a record was hard to find when all you had was the number a regulator handed you.

Both are fixed. Smart forms now keep trying to save, say honestly whether it worked, and refuse to sign off on answers that never reached us. Facility search now matches a state ID number, so office staff can paste in what the inspection notice says and land on the site.

The rest of the month went to schedules, sensors, and an API that can finally write.

PASS Harmonics

Facilities now carry the EPA-issued Hazardous Waste Generator ID, at a customer's request. It shows next to the State ID fields, on the facility dashboard and list rows, and in CSV exports, and you can search on it.

Sites with no region are easier to spot. Every region filter picked up a No Region option, and a new Map tab plots your facilities by region, with unassigned sites in red.

PASS Symphonics

The save fix is the one worth reading about. If an autosave failed mid-inspection, the badge said it was retrying while nothing was queued, so anything typed after the last good save could be lost. A failed save now schedules a real retry, keeps at it, and waits while a tech is still typing.

Annual schedules can hold an anchor now. A plain annual plan counts twelve months from the last completion, so one late visit drags every visit after it. The new First Sunday of the Month interval lands on the first Sunday of your chosen month every year.

Due dates read in the site's own time zone. They had been a day late for US facilities, so a Sunday schedule turned up as Monday.

PASS ATG Connect

Some sites use a spare ATG sensor port for something that has nothing to do with compliance, such as a register display. Those ports showed up on the Sensor Status Report, where a nuisance alarm on one could fail the report's paperwork. The company Sensors page now has a Reporting column, so an omitted sensor drops out of the report, its PDF and CSV, the paperwork it generates, and its pass or fail verdict.

Incident exports now carry each site's local time, with the zone on every row. A 9:29 AM alarm at an Eastern site had been reaching the spreadsheet as 1:29 PM.

Across PASS Tools

Version 2 of the PASS Tools API writes now: update an inspection's external ID, update or close an action item, reschedule a visit. Rescheduling warns you when the new date lands past a compliance deadline and asks you to acknowledge it first, exactly as the web app does.

Billing picked up two fixes. Deleting a completed inspection reverses its usage charge against the next invoice, and an invoice set to charge itself now shows overdue when the payment fails.
